Artist Pratik Ghosh:

Myself Pratik Ghosh. I got involved in fine arts from the past 18 years. Although i am not a professional artist yet i participated in several events and competitions and i got an award from our ex-railway minister mr. Nitish Kumar in an art competition organised by Railway womens welfare central organisation New-Delhi in the year 1998. That motivated me in fine arts and from then i got several other awards in various organisations like Camlin Colour contest, Rotary club etc etc. My art teacher was Mr. Sambhu Nath Jana who taught me the basics of art like sketching in pencil and use of pastel and water colour. Now currently i am learning painting from a renowned artist from kolkata Mr. Subrata Bhadra who taught me oil painting and acrylic painting. I feel that painting and arts in various forms is one of the best medium to express ones feelings through colours and it can even have a huge impact on humanity because genuinly an artwork may even change the world. lastly i would like to express my respect to one of the renowned artist of the world often known as "The misunderstood genius" Vincent Van Gogh whose artwork has always inspired me throughout my life.
Radart wishes you all the very Best !!
